Inspired Testimonials
Hi LuAn, this is Nicole Custer, I met you on the airplane from Vegas to Dallas. I attached the picture we took at the airport (yeah!). I just wanted to let you know what a pleasure it was meeting you. You are absolutely beautiful inside and out (especially out, but I know that it's what's inside that counts and from talking to you, you are the whole package!). It's a wonderful thing that you're doing to help other people. I've been surfing around some of your websites but haven't had a lot of time yet to spend looking at everything. You are definitely an inspiration and I would love to talk to you more.
I hope your convention went well in Dallas. Did you have fun? There was a Margarita Ball charity event for children that night, we were at.
Chris and I had a great time in Dallas at our training and even signed up for another training in June in Palm Springs. If you're around when we're there, I would love to see you! The training is called the Journey and it's supposed to help open us up and let go of our past experiences (baggage) to help us become better people/parents/spouses . . . and also some training I'm sure for our business as well.
Our business is another reason why I wanted to contact you. If you check out my website: www.seeking.worldventures.biz it will show you all about what we do. It's so much fun! I would love to share more of it with you if you are interested. We met a gentlemen in our company this weekend that said he has been talking with Michael Beckwith about the company as well - made me think of you again . . . hmmm, law of attraction at work???
I know you're busy and I'm writing a book, but I wanted to let you know how thankful I am that I had the chance to meet you and talk with you on the flight.
Hugs, NicoleIt was a great pleasure to meet you at the Pass It On premier. Thank you for giving me the honor of taking a photo with you, which is attached here, along with another photo of me. You are such a passionate person, so full of energy and zest for life.
I would like to share with you my own insights and love of life, so may I mail you a copy of my award-winning finalist book Waking Spirit: Prose & Poems the Spirit Sings? To where should I mail it?
Please do keep in touch, as I'm always interested in conversing with like-minded people. I'd love to get to know you better.
Thank you. Again, it was great meeting you, and I look forward to hearing from you when you get a chance.
Best regards,

I am attaching a book report on the IMPOSSIBLE DREAMER. At our monthly employee meeting, each employee shares a book review. I just read the review on your book. It is so tremendous and I thought you would enjoy seeing how beautifully your book is influencing our employees.
Tremendously, Charles T JonesOn a recent trip, I grabbed your book as I ran out the door, "Leadership Lessons". The long flight "flew" by as read your wonderful story. What a wonderful book! What an inspiration you are and will be to so many who will read your book. Think of the lives you will touch! You are truly a wonder with an incredible story to anyone trying to dig themselves out of adversity. No wonder my mother and father love you so much! I hope I get to meet you and your wonderful family some day.
Thanks for all you do!!
Much love and appreciation! Candy Crawford Mechanicsburg, PA I loved reading about you, your accomplishments, and your life. What a wonderful story you have, and I know it is inspiring many young women that they, too, can make a difference. I am so grateful that God brought us together through Charlie and LLJ, and I look forward to wonderful years of sharing ahead and a friendship for eternity!
Blessings, Barbara Glanz, CSP (Certified Speaking Professional) Member of the National Speakers Association Board of Directors 2002-2005 Thank You from the bottom of my heart! You are a natural born mentor! Not for the $ but for the love of it! Thanks for the Inspiration!
Sherry (a nurse from California) You are an amazing woman. I just finished your books and have been dazzled by your accomplishments. We met at the EWomen Network conference in Dallas this July. I was awed by your statements on stage. In case you don't remember, I had to give a testimonial the following week in Las Vegas. I changed career paths about two years ago to follow my dream. You gave me the inspiration to write and relate my path that lead me to Wildtree.
I had hoped I would be able to share moments with you in Banff. (I had hopes of dog sledding.) However, I will be joining the group on the Wine and Spa adventure in San Francisco next week. I'm sure it will be fun. And I truly am ready for some rest and relaxation.
I hope our paths again cross. I would love to know more about you. I would love to share different events that altered our lives. You truly are an inspiration. I am so glad you are reunited with your daughter. You deserve happiness in your life.
Thank you again for helping me succeed in expressing my path with Wildtree.
From the Sunny South, Marlene Spiegel www.mspiegel.mywildtree.comHi Sheila. I read the article you wrote on LuAn Mitchell-Halter and it really touched my heart. I believe that events come to us in our life to learn from.
I grew up in Winnipeg and was the youngest of 9 children. My parents did not have a university degree and only had a grade 6-9 education. They struggled to put food on our table and had many life challenges to deal with. Despite all the life experiences that came their way, they had a passion for life and an entrepreneurial spirit to make a difference. They started up one of the first Wine and Beer making supply stores in Canada. Today my brother and his famiy are still running the company.
Having grown up in this kind of environment, I too was bitten by the entrepreneurial bug. I had a toy rental/sale company for 5 years. However, I did not have the success I envisoned. For those who want to create their own destiny, the spirit never leaves. I was open to exploring opportunities and came across a company that was changing an old industry - financial services. I had no real understanding on money and had huge fears about looking stupid in the eyes of the world. I found out I was not alone. In a recent article from the Calgary Herald, a study was launched to explore women and financial security. One of the outcomes was that this, " When asked " How secure do you feel financially?" just 10 % of the women respondents said they felt extremely secure." They question I ask myself, what about the other 90%? Who is helping them get their questions answered?
That is exactly what I do now for a living. I have a huge market to tackle. I now own my own business once again and have the honour of helping teach other families and business owners what they need to know to have the kind of life they want....no question is too stupid. I feel so greatful for all the hurdles and challenges that have been put before me and hope to empower others to see the beauty of obsatcles for new growth.
I would be honored if you could express my thoughts to LuAn and you for the amazing article and the open and honest sharing that took place. I would love to meet you and LuAn if you are ever in Calgary.
Have a truly inspiring day!!!!
Thanks, Denise Baril-Rooney "It was fantastic meeting you last month at Gail Watson's BIG FORTY. When I meet someone exceptional, I like to share these encounters with my network. I live about 70 miles from where you used to live and I knew of you, and your company. I know a number of people that worked for you and they said they enjoyed doing it! Some are still working there. I think it is wonderful that you have a scholarship fund in memory of Fred."
Jane "LuAn, it was great seeing you. I was just floored when I heard your voice. What are the odds. You're looking beautiful as ever. You're in your forties, will you quit looking like you did in your twenties already? You are giving the rest of us a complex."

Debi Dube-Dean "How do we begin to thank you for all that you did to help us make our Girls' Town of Italy 42nd Annual fashion Show Luncheon a wonderful success. I begin by thanking you for being one of the most glamorous models on the runway. We know Max Nugus was also most appreciative to have you wearing his creations. Your table gift of your award winning book, Paper Doll, is a real keepsake and we know the lucky person at the table will enjoy reading it. Your marvellous gift of $15,000 for your motivational speaking engagement also added to the success of the raffle. It is because of the invaluable help from dear friends like you that we are able to give a home and a "chance in life" to young girls who depend on us so they may have a brighter future. It is on their behalf that we express our deepest gratitude for your generous support and all your efforts to assure the success of this event."

You have a wonderful story to share; many blessings on how you've triumphed over all the challenges. Congratulations too, you have done a fabulous job in all areas of your life."

Amy Lyden
Australia "I had reservations about contacting you after reading all the media regarding your life. The magnitude of your resilience is daunting from my point of view. Every day I kick myself to keep going. I am a single mom of four amazing children. I stress about the life I am giving them and remind myself that we have each other...what more could we need? I do not want to give my children a mother filled with fear, but a mother who is bold and confident. Our world does not emphasize the importance of relationships, rather the accumulation of stuff and experiences. Listening to your inner self can get difficult when everything is screaming at you to conform to this world. With two teenage daughters fighting to belong, I can appear rather square (can we still say that?). Your vision and generosity to good causes are refreshing. LuAn, you have done amazing things since I knew you many years ago. You were full of ideas and abundant energy. Who knew this was God's plan? Congratulations, keep up the fantastic work by following your heart. You are still LuAn."
Terri Lynn Kondra "I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on all that you have achieved and say that you are an inspiration to people like myself. I am currently writing a paper on the role of female entrepreneurs in Canada, dealing with who they are and what they do, but also examining how they got where they did and any problems they may have encountered along the way. Good luck with your book and I hope to see it released over here very shortly."
Grainne McCay
4th year Computing and Enterprise Studies, University of Ulster (Northern Ireland) "I thought my life was tough but when I read about what you went through, well then, things didn't look so bad. I work in the film industry and have made over 40 movies in the capacity of a First Assistant Director over the past 15 years. My position is almost always occupied by men and still in 2004 there are less than a handful of women that do my job. I salute you and all that you've accomplished and wish you continued success."
Elizabeth Scherberger
First Assistant Director, Directors Guild of Canada "You are God's gift to women! My heart swells when I think of the look in your eyes and the gifts you have given me. Thank you for writing Paper Doll! Thank you for being you - smart, brave, good strong, confident and totally gorgeous and sexy. You fully deserve the blessings you have received. By being fabulous you give all women permission to be fabulous too! NO APOLOGIES! It's no wonder you're a magnate for wonderful women. You have more than inspired me!"
