LuAn with a star

"On that breezy sunny day in August 1986, none of the 200 or so guests at Fred's mother's ranch knew that behind our bright smiles we were heartsick. Not long before the greatest day in both of our lives, Fred and I had received a devastating medical diagnosis."

LuAn Mitchell-Halter's Top 5 Success Strategies

1. Don't Scattershot
Assertive individuals often feel stronger and more relaxed about their goal(s) while aggressive persons create feelings of frustration and stress that affect work performance negatively. The key is to: Focus - Take Aim - Target Shoot!

2. Build Alliances, Especially Strong Ones With Yourself, When Questioned
Even unconventional alliances can "push" your score up fit they make sense!
Like the gridiron, there are continual obstacles in life - things that get in your way and attempt to prevent you from reaching the goal line. The biggest challenge facing many in business is social norms that question a person's ability and responsibility. This can be a huge barrier to success, either as an entrepreneur and/or business owner or to any corporate career.

3. Be True To Your Team! Fly your Flag! Wear Your "True" Colors Proudly!
Corporate business - much like a sporting event - is a tough game full of cheap shots and winning plays.
In the words of a woman who was surely an "all star", Amelia Earhart:
The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity.
The fears are paper tigers.
You can do anything you decide to do.
You can act to change and control your life: And the procedure, the process, is its own reward.
You're already wearing the winning team's jersey. What are you waiting for, let's hit the field!

4. Keep It REAL! "Real Exciting! Real Life! Real Rewarding!"
The key to breaking down obstacles and winning the game is mental toughness, and staying alert. To attain a goal, one must always keep your eye on the ball - "the company and objectives," - and believe in the mission, oneself and the team.

5. When You've Gained Yardage - Recognize The Plays That Worked
Just as important as the challenges we all seize is how we tackle those challenges. Winners here need to develop a framework for their thinking, a framework that calls them to greatness!
