Pretty on the outside, messy inside

LuAn Mitchell, author, motiviational speaker, former chairwoman of Mitchell Gourmet Foods. -- One look at her Louis Vuitton white leather wallet emblasoned with the multi-coloured logos and you know LuAn Mitchell-Halter is not about being one of the boys.

Shop 'til you drop...sure enough, you'll find a tigerprint Holt Renfrew card and a Birks platinum card (which allows her to trade in old baubles bought at the store and put the value against the purchase of new ones.) She also has an iRewards card, which she used frequently to buy reference books at Coles and Indigo while researching her current book project Tiger Diva: 10 Ways to Stripe it Rich. Because she's a power shopper, a "kabillion receipts" have taken over her wallet and she's been forced to store her cash in her purse.

Frequent Flyer -- Ms. Mitchell-Halter travels frequently for speaking engagements and keeps her Air Canada Aeroplan card and Alaska Airlines mileage plan number handy. And whoops! She seems to have dug up the key card to her kids' hotel room at the Grand Wailea Resort in Maui, where she and her family took a vacation this past Christmas. Aloha!
